Geo-Lehrpfad Bergstrasse Odenwald (D)

Dipl. ing. Jochen Babist, member of the board of the IES, worked intensively on a project to consolidate the geological and mining archaeological history of the Odenwald region. This project was one of the first in its kind and obtained the title of UNESCO geopark site. The IES promotes and supports these kind of projects all over Europe in order to make Europe's ancient mining history visible again in today's cultural and natural landscapes.
